A Busy Child Preschool is a quality, licensed preschool & daycare located in Denver, Colorado. A Busy Child Daycare & Preschool serves the Montbello and Green Valley Ranch neighborhoods. Our preschool has been quality rated through Qualistar, and received a 3-Star rating (out of 4). We provide professional preschool and childcare services to the Denver community for children 2 years of age until Kindergarten. A Busy Child Daycare & Preschool offers a preschool setting in a comfortable, home environment. Our preschool program also offers a small group size with a low student to teacher ratio (2:12) that allows the teacher to develop a bond with each student. Our program is also an approved Denver Preschool Program provider.
A Busy Child Daycare & Preschool offers a bright and clean preschool classroom that is warm and inviting to children, and a carefully planned curriculum where play takes precedence and learning opportunities are presented throughout our day. Preschool lessons, developmentally appropriate materials, field trips, and a literacy-rich environment enhance our preschool program, creating a positive and educational experience for your preschooler. Music Classes with Mr. Marty from Rhythm & Rhyme Tyme is also offered to our students.
A Busy Child Daycare & Preschool offers morning Preschool Classes for children 2 years to 5 years of age. Our preschool curriculum is language rich, with an emphasis on play based learning. We focus on social relationships, language skills, problem solving, fine and gross motor development, self-help skills, and music and movement. In addition, we incorporate activities that promote letter, number, shape, and color recognition. Beginning Spanish is taught as a part of our curriculum, and is used frequently when conversing with the children. Character Education is also an integral component to our program. We work to instill values with each child such as Respect, Caring, Patience, Politeness, Cooperation, and Forgiveness. Our Preschool program will prepare your child for success in Kindergarten and beyond.
About the Teachers
Babette Torres - Preschool/Daycare Owner & Lead Teacher
I am the proud owner and lead teacher at A Busy Child Preschool. I am also a mother to four wonderful children, two daughters 14 & 12 years old and two sons 7 & 5 years old. I thoroughly enjoy working with children, and take pride in my profession as a teacher and childcare provider. It is my goal to offer a high-quality preschool and daycare program to children and families in the Denver area. I am enrolled in college credit courses in the Early Childhood Education field and attend classes and workshops pertaining to the development of children on an on-going basis. I am also trained in CPR/First Aid and Universal Precautions. Please take a moment to review my childcare credentials.
Kearyan Gallagher - Assistant Teacher
I am currently a student at the Community College of Aurora, and I am enrolled in the Associates program for Early Childhood Education. I live at home with my mother and two siblings: Kassy, 15 and James, 13. I love working with children, and look forward to becoming a teacher after obtaining my degree. My hobbies are cooking and gardening. I am also current with my CPR & First Aid certification as well as Universal Precautions.
