This poem, originally written by Erma Bombeck, I felt was the perfect story for a mother of three. I read it often to help me appreciate each and every one of my children as their own unique individuals. I have changed and altered this poem to make it more personal for me and my three children. It was because of the birth of my children that I opened my door and my heart to other children in need of childcare. Doing childcare gave me the opportunity to be home with all of my babies, and develop relationships with other families that I hope last forever. I was able to see my children roll over, crawl, walk and talk for the first time- and for this I will be forever grateful. I dedicate this website to all of my children. Without even knowing , they gave me the inspiration and motivation to start this business and become someone I never thought I'd be. Thank you.

MY FIRST BORN--RYKER WILLIAM

I've always loved you best because you were my first miracle. You were my hopes...my dreams...the fulfillment of young love. You were new...You had unused parents. You were an original. You sustained me through the fears I felt....Will I raise him right?... Will I make mistakes? ... Will I always be there for him? You were the little man who made me smile each and every day. You came into our lives and handled the 'top ramen' days, & hamburger helper meals, for you knew no different. You had the first home, furnished with hand me downs from everyone we knew. You had our first modes of transportation--EEKS. You wore new, had unused grandparents, and were an original for your new parents just trying to work it all out. You got the 3 hour naps with mom! You were the beginning. I've always loved you best.

MY MIDDLE CHILD--NOAH JAMES

I've always loved you best because you took the worst spot in the family and it made you stronger for it. You cried less, smiled always, had more patience, and never ever did anything 1st, but it only made you more special. With you, anything went- You were so flexible. With you I was relaxed more, and realized the world wouldn't come to an end if a toddler went to bed without a bath. You were your own little man from day one and I loved you so much more for it. I learned with you, to take it one day at a time. You helped me learn that messes were OK, no matter what.. It would always be OK. You wore faded and used, for you knew no different. You were our continuance to our growing family. I've always loved you best.

MY BABY--JOLIE JACKLYND

I've always loved you best because endings are generally sad and you give us such joy in our life. You accepted sharing me with your brothers from day one, for you knew no different. You experienced the saggy diapers and uncombed hair. The baby book pages never filled---life is just so busy. You taught me how to 'expect' the 'unexpected'. You took what I thought was a complete family and made it 'whole'. Thank you. You are the one I hold on to so tightly, for you see, you are the link to the past that gives me a reason for tomorrow. You quickened our steps, when we thought we were finished and gave us humor that maturity doesn't give us. You will forever be our "baby". I've always loved you best.
